I know I've seen a photo of that boulder with the entire side painted with a face or something, but I can't locate one online now.

Is it this rock? Not sure who thinks it's a good idea to do this...

It wasn't that one. The art is cool, but the location not so much. The one I'd seen a photo of was in all grayscale and was some sort of face.

Getting close. It is not the Dolores River. Close to I-70, very popular whitewater rafting run below. The canyon in view is a southerly drainage to the popular whitewater run.

Yes. You're up! This is taken from the Westwater WSA looking up Marble Canyon above the Westwater run of the Colorado River. The Little Dolores is just off screen to the left.
