Lith Canyon is just a few miles from the Mars Desert Research Society at the dead end of a dirt road. It is where the people leaving there for a few weeks do their training walks in their space suit. At the entrance of this canyon there is also a wellknown dinosaur quarry. There are colorful badlands all around there.

Yes the MDRS is in the area of Tank Wash but the 2 pictures that I published on this thread were taken in the nearby Lith Canyon (beginning at the very end of the dirt road) where the Martians usually do a walk in their space suit (as you can see if you googlize "lith canyon" and look at the images results).
