I don't know the location but it looks like maybe the San Rafael Reef in the far background, and the rock patterns are very much like those found around Fossil Point on the Green River Road (and, of course, elsewhere in that area...).

Yep. Looks like Horse Bench along Green River road.

To give a clue, here is a picture taken near the end of this little canyon where it reaches a welknown creek :
