I don't know the location but it looks like maybe the San Rafael Reef in the far background, and the rock patterns are very much like those found around Fossil Point on the Green River Road (and, of course, elsewhere in that area...).

Yep. Looks like Horse Bench along Green River road.

hmm, I can't think of many named drainages that join the Muddy in the Morrison formation. Salt Wash maybe?
