On the right track. I’m pretty sure that there has been a shot from close to this exact spot somewhere in this threadI would guess Dirty-D country, but I can't place this exact scene.
Verrrrrrry closeHatch?
Yes, top of the drop in to Fiddler CoveFiddler Cove?
Wait do you actually go over the Block itself? Isn't that like full-on fifth class?Yes, top of the drop in to Fiddler Cove
Btw, killer short packraft loop (with short bike shuttle) is up rock canyon, over the Block, drop down into FC, boat down to ~confluence with the CO
There are at least a couple non-tech routes (I think there are published routes on south and east side but there are more).Wait do you actually go over the Block itself? Isn't that like full-on fifth class?
What canyon does froggy live in?
Good guess! Your turnI should let someone else guess, but Bowdie

Maybe out of the way but if you just want to get to the dirty devil quickly in the area might as well just drive down poison springs...walking over the Block is way more fun (while making a fairly tidy loop)! I did that loop as an overnighter with silly low water, so not really that out of the way (though some tricky navigation)Wait a sec, I'm trying to visualize this route and having trouble. From the head of Rock Canyon it's a fairly direct line NNW to the old cattle trail dropping into FC near where it meets Hatch. How does going over the Block come into this? Seems waaay out of the way.
Getting up onto the Block was one of my early S Utah trips close to 20 years ago, the views from up there really blew me away. I need an excuse to go back!
Kinda more NW (looking down Cliff Canyon), you’re up!Navajo Mountain looking northward?
