Finally got some bag nights in for the month of May! I revisited a part of the San Rafael Swell that I haven't been to in a long time and saw a lot of things I wasn't even aware of back then.

May 25 | Moab- Kens Lake | 1 night

I think this trip was in trouble before it happened. My Jeep got rear ended Friday the 18th by a driver on their phone. So I had to drive a rental Nissan Rouge this weekend. It is a nice vehicle, but it is not a 4x4, and just not my Renegade. So that limited where we could go. I think we literally got the last camp spot in Moab. Hurricane force winds on Saturday while we were out exploring busted the cross bar pole on my Half Dome 4. Should have been two nights, but with an 11 month old, 97 degree temps with howling winds, and a collapsed tent, we were forced to leave. I spent more time driving in a 24 hour period than I did sleeping. Still had a good night on Friday, We had a nice fire, S'mores for the family. My son's first camping trip. We will get out some more. I'll get some more nights soon as backpacking season begins. Took this one from camp on Friday. At least I am on the board this year.
