Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Although not as obscure as a random canyon alcove or wall...
I finally stopped and drove out to these last month.
Where am I?

The wash has a name, but I would also take the name of the nearest town.
The nearest town is also the name of the formation according to the USGS map.

The nearest town is also the name of the formation according to the USGS map.
For clarification, on helping us with or guess, is 'formation' referring to a rock layer (for example, the Kayenta Formation) or some named feature (for example, the Toadstool Hoodoos). I've heard people refer to both things as formations.

in this case, it is the actual geological formation. The formation is the same name as the nearby town. The wash also has a name. I would not have known the geological name or the name of the wash if I had not been traveling with a geologist one time and expressed interest.

One traveling from say, N Utah to Central Utah has likely driven by this...

I forgot about this one!
I did not think this one would get mired down.
Maybe a few hints, and then if not, I will change to a different spot.

The name is also shared with a Disney princess.
Or the name of the wash is named after a European country.
This is not a destination of itself, but is right off a highway. :)

@Ugly I've been searching off and on for this, but so far haven't been able to pin it down. Appreciate the extra clues. I thought I was close, but could never get Google Earth or street view to confirm.

Is it off of highway 50 pretty close to the turnoff to the city of Aurora?

Yes, it is!
The wash is also named after a country that @Titans knows well, Denmark Wash :roflmao:
The Sevier and Aurora formations are present... or so I was told be a former UT geologist, and confirmed with deciphering obscene geological maps.

Take it away!

A few more hints to get this moving.
There is a highway between myself and thr peak in this photo.
The peak shares a name with a city that very close by.

How about another photo from a different day where I was at the top of the peak. The original photo was taken from down in the flats on the other side of the highway.
