Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Nope.

I'm adding two photos. One is just some interesting banding on the cliff face upper right of original image - did Ridley Scott get the idea for "Alien" from this?

and the next shows more of the area

Is it west of Red Breaks slot canyon just off the mesa looking roughly north towards spencer flat?

yes - the west face of the Red Breaks cliffs is upper right and Red Pyramid is center left

access is from the end of the Sheffield Road - park by the drill hole and hike south. From my photo, it is mostly nice slickrock to the rim above Harris Wash. There is a nicely banded shallow canyon on the right (ldc)

I'll throw out another hint. The most common reason you would be hiking through this canyon would be to get to an arch.

The easiest way to access this canyon and arch would be from the Cottonwood Canyon road that runs between highway 89 and Kodachrome Basin

Looks like maybe Sam Pollock Arch in Hackberry Canyon?

Name this trail

Bowington Road crossing the river?
Yes, this is the Bowington Road! Photo taken as it leaves the river bottom on the northern side. I need to go back and explore more of it.
