Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Tried it alone once from Red Pine. Got sketched out and never went back. Haha.
from White Pine it's a long and tedious boulder hopping session just to get to the saddle. from there it's fun scrambling but I couldn't find a convincingly safe way to traverse the last hundred yards or so to the summit. the other time I was there it was a direct walk up the steep headwall from Red Pine, but higher up we hit some sketchy ice and backed off. argh. I haven't even tried the ridge from Red Pine, but as I've gotten older my exposure tolerance has decreased, so I suspect the window on this one might have closed for me. like, I suspect I won't repeat Borah Peak or the Devil's Castle traverse.

Looks to be a structure on top of Pahvant Butte

Here's a very minor backcountry structure... a fence. I was fascinated by the T-posts being sunk into sandstone, having spent a lot of my early life raising cattle here in Nebraska and having done a ton of work on fences. It's right beside a very popular slot canyon, though most visitors won't actually walk to the fence. That honor is saved for folks going to less travelled (but no less interesting) country.

I've crawled under that wire - didn't notice any shreds from my shirt in the picture, however.

I had earlier posted this when I didn't realize the "protocol" for this thread so it is back again

I don't know where this is, but I would LOVE to go there and run around on it. Looks really fun!

Not West Clark Bench.

I stumbled on this when I checked out an area that Google Earth showed as having some possibly interesting slickrock hiking. The beauty of it thrilled me.

I was hoping I was wrong since I'm always happy to learn about somewhere new!
