I've convinced myself that it's Hunter Canyon, but I cannot get my views to line up.
Long Canyon?
I was not the one who was on the correct side, nor close, but i've rectified that now.Got the right ideas, one of you is on the correct side of the river and very close!
Thanks, after troubleshooting and configuring servers and phone systems all day, this is what I do to relax.... If you can't get outside, get outside virtually at least.Amazing pinpoint of the photo location in GE, by the way.
Yes, this was taken in the area of one of those two mentioned locations.no specific ideas but I associate this sort of banding with both the Book Cliffs area and Fiftymile Mountain
Sorry, no bites today. I hear there's better fishing to the west.somewhere between the Reef and the Henry's? Fishing for hints
Too far west.Near the Old Paria townsite?
If that's referring to either the Toadstool Hoodoos or the Wahweap Hoodoos, then still too far west, but getting closer.Somewhere in the vicinity of the Lake Powell Hoodoos
No, but I passed right by that trailhead on my way to where the photo was taken. Getting closer. You have to head east and north from the trailhead.Wiregrass Canyon Trailhead area?
This location is about 20 miles north of the AZ/UT border, as the crow flies.
