Ah, there is a real resemblance for sure to Yard beyond just being the Uintas. But nope, not Yard.

I know it looks pretty general but I suspect some of you know the exact spot due to the unique coloration. The streak of yellow indicates that that line of aspen trees is likely genetically identical and a different individual from the aspen individuals on either side. And that individual has spread through underground shoots as does 95%+ of aspen procreation.

Looks like we are going to need some more hints... This spot is on the best driving and best scenery road in the country. This road and this exact section of the road is one of the best leaf-peeping roads in the country. In fact I am not the only one with this opinion. Other people have ID’d the creek or the road or the campground near this spot in the past when I have shown them this shot.

The best scenic road in the country is Highway 12, not biased at all... This did look Boulder Mtn to me, but I was also thinking it could have been up by Fish Lake and Pando...

I only have a wag though cuz I have not camped on the south side of Boulder Mountain yet, and this seems like the south side.
