Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Somewhat of a wild guess here, but going off your hints, could it be this "tributary" of the Escalante River (at middle distance) which holds Bowington Arch?
I don't know the name of it, this view was taken from my previous "guess the spot".

Exactly! It has a bit of everything and I highly recommend it. Several interesting panels of rock art and Bowington Arch is quite nice. Take it away!

Do you know if it's possible to get out of that canyon and visit the pictographs at Haymaker Bench? Seems like there could be some fun loops around there.

It is. We once did it in two cars, one way, from Haymaker to Escalante River TH. From the high pictos, one needs to traverse downcanyon right along the rim to find a scramble ledges entrance (maybe more like steps). The western finger north of Bowington Arch finger. There's a blunt rib that drops into the finger. I scouted it once from below solo and then we went back. Section 7, SW corner of the NE quarter. Class 3 is a good estimate. On descent:

awesome, thanks!!

I can't recall a squeeze like that that I've been to. I could start making guesses based on that and the sun angle! Try Sheiks first?

I'll go with Bullet Canyon and the exit out of the rock chute that then heads down into a bowl, although it doesn't look quite right.

Lucky guess, you're up!

This is definitely Sheiks, where the trail goes through a gap between two leaning slabs or boulders. Photo # says it is somewhere between the Yellow House ruins, and the "pass" in the canyon walls where you can look over to Grand Gulch.

Ouch. Just goes to show you can't be too sure!

I've been in "ouch" mode before!!!! Never had a pure guess win though! I was ready to say, "oh yeah, probably Bullet, and I just don't remember. We all had it as a GG trib though based of the descent direction and sun exposure. I've been trying to get in a Coyote/Sheiiks loop but have yet to make it happen.

II'll grab a photo after I get off work
