Guess the spot: Maps Edition

This one is driving me crazy.... yeah, short drive, I know. From the treeline, it appears to be southern CA , northern AZ or northern NM, but I cannot find the "Range" that has this ridge.
Wow sorry guys, didn't think it'd be this much of a stumper. It's actually in none of the states you mentioned... and it's not particularly close to them either.

With regards to the drive... I once drove out to climb this peak, and had my timing belt blow in the middle of nowhere, maybe 50 miles from the peak or so. Thankfully it was on a paved road, but I had to climb up to the top of a ridge to get cell service to call AAA. Then I had to leave my car in the nearest town and go back to Salt Lake to get the part myself, thus consuming two weekends trying to get my car fixed. I really should get the premier AAA package, which would have allowed me to get my car towed to Salt Lake free of charge.

Am I the only one who can manipulate the map to show that this is the Dixie National forest East of Bear Valley Junction on Highway 89?

And it shows on my map as the Sevier Plateau...and this is just west of Adam's Head.
Not quite high enough to be that area...

Nothing to be sorry about. We will get you back....

Ibapah and Haystack Peaks in the Deep Creek Range. I initially misread your comment as the place being a looooooooong way from "here" in stead of from "anywhere", and took this to imply that it wasn't in Utah.
