Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Perhaps I missed it, but what's the in-joke with the Danish and the Dutch?

no joke... I'm Danish. But also lived in the Netherlands for 14 years. I'm fluent in Danish and Dutch, but not in Italian (I was teasing @Artemus with two Italian words I looked up and the 2 Italian words mean "I understand"... @Artemus said he didn't want to post maps in Italian, German or Latin, so I replied in Italian "I understand" ).
When Dutch people refer to their own language, they call it "Nederlands". That simply means "Dutch".
@Rockskipper mentioned it might be interesting if hints were in Italian, German or Latin. For the hint, I was thinking about something in common between Boulder / Denmark and Holland- and it's biking

I'm of 100% Dutch heritage but I probably only know a couple dozen words, all related to food or blasphemy :)
