Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Ok, big hint.... Not in Danish or Dutch, but this location is close to a town where they like bicycling as much as in Denmark and Holland- so much that they tend to clear bicycle paths of snow before they clear the roads.

We have a winner @mike_offerman ! You are up - good job. I'm amazed how this forum can pinpoint a tiny US map spot in a few hours.

Rick just pointed out that Boulder Falls is on the road between Boulder and NEDERLAND. Apparently a hidden hint, as Holland is also called The Netherlands! And "Nederlands" also refers to the Dutch langauge itself - but in Dutch, can you follow me?

Now @Artemus - I don't understand a word of Italian, but it's easy to look up on-line. But you mentioned Latin.... I have always been focused on science, but when I was 16 years old, I chose Latin as well. What a nightmare! 2 hours every day of extra homework and that was before I did any math, etc. We all had to prep reading and explaining the contents of 22 chapters of a book in Latin. The day of the exam arrives and as we are waiting to get called in for the individual exam. One of the guys called Lars, told me he only managed to read and prep the first 16 chapters. I said, what?.... If you pull a number between 17-22 out of the hat, then you are screwed. So I made him start reading the remaining chapters together and I explained all the Latin gramma, as we waited for him to get called in. We were halfway through chapter 19 and he gets called in. Which number did he pull out of that hat? Number 19, so Chapter 19! Where did they have him stop reading and explaining the Latin grammar? Half way through chapter 19. I believe Lars is a journalist today and he got a perfect score in his verbal Latin exam. I kid you not ! Some people are just very lucky :)

I surprised myself. :)

OK, this is a volcanic plug, and the hint is that it's the view from a famous (deceased) English rocker's manor house - name the rock, the rocker, or the nearest town (or all three).

Ok, I'm really going out on a limb now.... somehow I think it's in Hawaii. Warm or really cold?

Shoot, I said that about two hours ago but apparently it didn't post.
