I did not take this photo, but I did see this scene from this exact spot, so I'll pretend it is mine...

Nope, neither Mount Fuji nor Lake Fuji.

Yep, western hemisphere. And yes to volcano. This is one of the most famous volcanoes in the that particular country.

Bingo! Volcan Arenal (+ Lake Arenal), as viewed from the continental divide, north of Santa Elena & Monteverde. There is actually a little known / little used backcountry trail one can backpack from Monteverde to the PocoSol area.

I'm not gonna touch this one with a 10-foot pole. I do know where it is, but I cheated. I feel bad that my international experience is so limited I have to resort to cheating, and I'm making plans to sell everything I have and travel the world, just because of this photo.

An island in lake Titicaca. The peak is something like 13,500 or so.
