This is a short and very popular "family hike" in the North East. On that particular day it was super icy, even with traction devices, we had to dive off trail to bypass a long icy section. Supposedly there's a couple of different trails to get to the falls.
 
@Titans I came back this morning and I could see both photos. No idea why I couldn’t before!

Anyway, I think it’s Bash Bish Falls.
