I've never been there I just recognize the downcut of the river in forming the gorge.

Close. This spot is called Diamond Point Overlook. Never saw any diamonds but the view is priceless. @Reef&Ruins Take it away....

Well I'm out so I had to ask my dad to help me out with a photo. Where is this lovely lighthouse located?

Any guesses? It is, as you can see from the vegetation in front, NOT in New England.

OK, it is on the Gulf of Mexico coastline of the US.

And it is NOT on the Texas Gulf Coast. Nor on the very short stretch of Alabama that touches the Gulf of Mexico.

To keep this going I'll give the hint that it is on the gulf coast of Florida and NOT in the panhandle portion.
