Cold morning on a December descent of Horseshoe Canyon from Blue John to the river, then packraft paddle over to Hell Roaring, finishing with the 'crawl' route out. I didn't go - just my son and his buddy. 4 days. Testing some of the sleeping bags and quilts I make!

Cataract Canyon Campin' is amazing! Big sandy beaches all day.

The tent fits perfectly on the raft. This is at Spanish Bottom on the layover day after hiking up to the Dollhouse. Way too many beer cans on the ground haha

Valley of the Gods from this last weekend...(NOTE: Campfires aren't really allowed in this area for whatever reason despite all the people that get away with it and the fire rings they leave behind, but I felt justified in having one with our own wood and in our own off-the-ground fire bowl to contain all the ash which we packed out, so as to leave no trace or impact from having one)
