The cat in my photo above (Theo) was feral. You can barely make out where his left ear has been clipped, which is what the rescue groups do when they catch them so they know the cat's been fixed before they release them. But Theo was so friendly the rescue place took him in for adoption, and a friend adopted him. Like a lot of us here, he hates being indoors, so my friend lets him roam during the day (it's a very safe area with no traffic) but he goes in at night. He came from a rescue in eastern Colorado (we're on the other side of the state).

I stayed with the friend who adopted Theo for a few weeks once and got to know the cat well, then I ended up renting a place a few blocks away. I don't know how, but Theo figured out where I live and sometimes comes over for Fancy Feast, then I take him home and put him inside. He comes and sits by my patio door until the dogs notice him, then comes inside just long enough to eat. He's getting rather portly, eating at both places. :)

Been a long time since I posted anything. I’m sitting in the background at a family dinner so it seems like a good time to do so.

Made a clockwise walk of the Clyde Lake loop on Friday. I included a side trip up to Three Lakes Divide for a peek into the middle fork of Weber Canyon. Surprised I could still get up there.

Maybe not now? the snow situation has hopefully deepened.
Where did you start from? and good to hear from you.

Made the one mile mark for the first time this afternoon on my walk to F Street and back home. 1.04 miles roundtrip! Knee is still pretty sore and swollen, but progress.

And check out all the flowers that are blooming in Salt Lake in December; all seen on my walk today.

It's springtime out there to the north?
If this goes too much more, maybe I will have to turn back on my sprinklers... :p

1 mile is great progress!
