How many miles did you guys walk for the week?
44 miles. They had heavy snow this winter but we heard it was melting out fast. Jeff could probably come up with an elevation gained figure......ha!
The attempt at Otokomi Mountain amounted to 1,800 vertical feet in .7 miles....................that can't be right! Ugh

a few images of my short trip to the Uintas
No backpacking this time, just day hikes. But it was a great test run with a few leg burners and hopefully soon I'll be in shape again for these mountain hikes. The silly volcano has so messed up my lungs that it takes a long time to recover from it.

Trip Report is coming soon of this trip.

This one's for @LarryBoy. I celebrated a birthday while out on the Highline. It turned out to be the toughest day of the trip so there wasn't much celebrating that night, but we still had a little fun.
Happy Birthday @Nick

When you were talking at the end of the video, I thought to myself “where do I know that voice from?, it sounds so familiar”... then it hit me. Your voice is a dead ringer for Seth Rogen’s.

That's a terrific idea and terrific execution. Birthday spam. Happy birthday, and here's to many more on trail!

Happy Birthday! Is that Collin Jones in the green rain jacket?

I was reminded of this shot yesterday. It is me, taken in Glacier Nat'l Park in 1985. Some have said that I looked a bit like @Scott Chandler. (I don't see it.) This got me thinking......when this shot was taken I was 1 year older than Scott is now. I wish this photo would have become more of the rule in my life. But life tends to take you down its path. The next thing you know the TV is on and your feet are kicked up.

You look like the man! You are the man.

"I wish this photo would have become more of the rule in my life. But life tends to take you down its path."
Truer words....mister.

Except for this part: "The next thing you know the TV is on and your feet are kicked up."
