Nothing like Scatman in a fedora. :D
The fedora is nice. . . but I would have wagered you had some lederhosen stashed away amongst all the camping gear, kilts, and cameras in your house somewhere.

Did the musicians blowing on the horns hand out any cough drops? (Or would that be a Swiss festival? )

I'm glad to see there was at least one oom-pa-pa in your post. :)

I would pay good money to see that video — good money, but not a lot of it.

You know that the Scat is technically challenged, but after searching the deep recesses of the dark web, I have found what you would pay for.

You can make that check out to - Scatman Dancer Extraordinaire. :D

I've given some thought to the lederhosen.

Could be Swiss.

Oom-pa-pas are important.

And now let me leave you both with another song from the fest that I will be singing as I make my way off-trail through Hayden Valley in 2025.

I love to go a-wandering
Along the mountain track
And as I go, I love to sing
My knapsack on my back
Val-deri, val-dera
Val-deri, val-dera
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Ha
Val-dera
My knapsack on my back
I love to wander by the stream
That dances in the sun
So joyously it calls to me
Come join my happy song
Val-eri, val-dera
Val-deri, val-dera
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Ha
Val-era
Come join my happy song
I wave my hat to all I meet
And They wave back to me
And blackbirds call so loud and sweet
From ev'ry green wood tree
Val-eri, val-dera
Val-deri, val-dera
Val-deri, val-dera
Oh, may I go a-wandering
Until the day I die
Oh, may I always laugh and sing
Beneath God's clear blue sky
Val-eri, val-dera
Val-eri, val-dera
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Ha
val-dera
Beneath the clear blue sky
Beneath the clear blue sky

A big check is coming your way. It has a contract with it that you have to sign before you can cash it though. The contract says you will delete that video just kidding. I thought it was great. Great what I’m not sure but great.

@Wanderlust073 once said something to the effect of: “the desert is hot and dusty”. Never really felt it till this week, it’s been very warm for early October. Rick’s foot after a day in Hokas. I had long pants on and the red dust made it to knee level.

We were spoiled in Wyoming last week surrounded by lakes, mountains and cool temperatures at night.
Many thanks to @TractorDoc , @Bob , @Ugly and @regehr for all the last minute help in making our Teton trip super enjoyable!

rub a little on your wrist....... might help it heal.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing. :) I'll bet when I eat it, it will make me forget about my wrist pain for about thirty minutes. :D

I'm sorry that I have not done a trip report in two years. I think it is because I haven't had a story to tell. Maybe I will try to come up with an idea over the winter, as I have hiked 290 miles in Glacier NP in those two years. I made an extra trip to Glacier the last weekend of September. The obsession to hike trails that require a ford of the Middle Fork of the Flathead was too strong. @Jeffrey Chandler was able to join me. Most of these pictures are in the Coal Creek drainage and Mt. St. Nicholas.
