Survivorman is coming to the Uintas

Bummer, I was hoping to participate in the 'let's find his campspot' trip next summer.

Geez.... just found this thread. Now I am really disappointed. I thought his was the only legit survivor style show..... well there is his bigfoot nonsense. That should have clued me in but I thought that was just to get a larger audience.

He IS doing a Bigfoot episode here!!

This is a time when ignorance really is bliss . . . If I knew how many critters big and small walked through my camp at night I'd probably give the whole thing up.

In most places where there are lion in Utah, I'm more worried about getting pooped on by a cow in the middle of the night than I am the lion. You never hear about a mountain lion dragging someone out of their sleeping bag.

I just read all the old threads about this guy on here last night, then watched the episode on YouTube and did lots of lol. I don't use fb so if you guys could post the juicy stuff here that would be awesome.

And please don't find any dirt on the show Dual Survivor, especially Matt Graham. I actually like that show.
... well ill just say that from a few items ive noticed... well just enjoy your fantasy. But i admit in many ways its far better than other similar shows.

I'm aware that the rescue scenes are probably all fake and that most "found" items are gifts left there by the director... I just hope it's not totally egregious stuff like camping out next to a highway while the narrator says they are miles from civilization.

I'm loving this thread. I discovered it pretty late. Did the episode ever come out?

Poor Less has fallen quite far. I still like him, and I think he does some pretty good stuff. I would doubt that he is the guy who goes back to clean up his campsites so hopefully, some intern got there ass kicked after the Utah episode.

On the subject of Bigfoot, I have had two encounters in my life that were pretty trippy. One was up in Idaho when I was young, maybe 10 or so.

I woke up in the AM and found my dad and one of the dogs gone fishing. I grabbed my stuff and the other dog and went after him, knowing he'd be along the river expecting me to come find him. As I walked along the trail, I saw something big and walking like a person enter the trail and start walking. My dog was quiet at first but then barked. The thing was moving was faster then me and I remember it/him/whatever looking over it's shoulder at me. I couldn't see much but just the action or gesture.

Obviously I was young, so who knows.

The other time was in the Uintas with my wife. She woke me up in the middle of the night asking me if I heard that. I said no then immediately heard a yell very similar to the ones they are always doing on the squatch show with the bubbles guy. Crazy thing was it repeated itself, then I heard a reply from the other direction. It was a pretty cool night for sure.

This one has stuck with me. I have done tons of camping all over. Never heard anything like it, also never felt so strange for no reason.
