    Being in the land of the midnight sun, it was actually a tremendous relief to start seeing sunrises again. It made starting shifts with sleeping bears around a little odd, but boy did I miss the beginning and end of the days.

    This was at Myrtle point which is an overlook on Mt. LeConte, GSMNP.
    not a sunrise but it was close

    Did a little overnighter last night, local spot, very flat, only a mile hike in, can hear I29 all night long, but it's as good as it gets here without driving a lot farther.
