The slider bars appear after I go down three lines or more or right
away if I insert a quote or if I'm replying to another comment.

I maximized the window . . . same thing.


Now that I've really been paying attention, the jumping is associated
with the slider bars.

If I make a comment without a "quote" or "reply" there is no jumping
until I get 3-4 lines down when the slider bars appear then it starts.
 
I still can't see the sideways slider and my up down slider is way different, no flickering. Anyone else seeing the sliders and flickering like DrNed?
 
I'm also using Chrome and cannot get any slider bars to show up no matter how hard I try.

DrNed, do you have any plugins installed on the browser that might be causing this? Maybe try disabling all of those and see if it resolved the issue?

Thanks for that advice.

It was the Grammarly plug in. So I deleted it
and refreshed this page and all was back to normal.

No jumping and no slider bars.

Hey @Nick and mods... Am I missing something or is the word cloud gone with all of the popular geographic terms like state names and national parks? I thought it was handy dandy when looking into planning something in a certain area.
