Nice! I should have some great pics, in the next few weeks. Will be in Colorado, from 6/21-7/12. Plan to post a few trip reportsWelcome! I grew up in the midwest and lived the first nearly 10 years of my life in Richmond, Indiana, right next to the Ohio border. Looking forward to seeing your photos and trips from the Rockies and from back in the midwest.
Thanks for the heads up! Ideally, I’d love to hike that some time in OctoberWe enjoyed Red River Gorge in October a few years back. Thanks for letting me know about Zaleski and Wayne - I'll check those out.
YES, we loved hiking Pictured Rocks! Here's my trip report if you ever decide to head up there. Campsites need to be reserved in advance and may be hard to come by if you don't try early.
Fall color would be beautiful, as there are lots of hardwoods. In the UP, I'd guess early October is best, and the nights will probably be chilly. I just found this site with beautiful photos! Thanks for the heads up! Ideally, I’d love to hike that some time in October
