I was doing a paper on Pueblo construction and visited a bunch of stuff all over the Southwest. But it was long enough ago that I don’t remember some of the ones I’ve been to and probably wouldn’t even recognize pictures if I saw them. That was just so distinctive that I recognized it. ETA That brought back a memory I had forgotten where I almost got in trouble. It was at Wupatki for picking up a point there. The Ranger didn’t take too kindly to it until I pointed out that it was in gravel that had been brought in for the road. Nobody even knew where it came from. Lol of course I gave it to them.Nice .... Maybe my search turned up a different Wolf's Head - is this just west of Pingora in the Winds? It’s well worth going to see, but it’s kind of hard to find.
Nice...... there are some really nice sites in the area there.... Pretty well known now tho. When I visited that particular one there was a woven sandal still there tucked away.I was doing a paper on Pueblo construction and visited a bunch of stuff all over the Southwest.
