Guess the spot

Arizona, smaller version of a well-known one...Little Colorado?
Sorry to leave thus one hanging! You got it. It's the view of the Little Colorado river from Cameron.
 
It's been a long time since I was there, but I think I could've guessed it w/o ever being there based on your clues.

This will be easy for those of you who live in the area, but I'm posting it because of its unbelievable geologic story.

That is awesome! I'd love to go back and see those more recent volcanic areas on Maui and Hawai'i.
 
Hint #1: one of this peak's high points lies on the border of two national forests and two wilderness areas, but the (barely) lower of the two is pictured.
