Guess the spot

The only trouble with opening it up to Denmark, for instance, is that no one will be able to guess the spot and it will sit there, frustratingly out of reach, tantalizing, torturing us...

Yep. I'd be totally screwed. That's why it's just been the maps and this one so far. FWIW, I would definitely say Alaska and Hawaii are legit in this thread. I'm pretty sure we've even had one or two international posts somewhere in the 2,385 so far.

Why not just start another thread titled: Guess the spot - International edition?

you got it Art , you're up. nice job, i'm impressed.
Don't be too impressed... I've been around the block, er.. mountain, a time or two. I've been to that exact spot three times and even had lunch on that rock outcropping. You should post a pic of the view of Exit Glacier 90 deg. to the right to show everyone why we both went there.

You know @Michael started this trend of harder-is-better by posting that picture of a COTTONWOOD TREE!

So, I request, if you post something that is hard - Great! But please accept that fact and return to the thread often and see if we need a hint or two or are stumped.

Exactly, Ben! Thanks. I aspire to cross the Harding Icefield from that spot all the way to the south near Homer AK and came close to doing that sometime back with a Homer friend. An entire north to south traverse. THAT will be a trip report.
