My guess is the SA exit/entry shortcut to the Bowington Road out of the river valley. It begins hidden behind a 50 foot black streak dryfall and the pic could be enroute to the line of dead ponderosa pines. Or not...

thought this is what you meant - I call the area N of Boulder Creek & E of Deer Creek a "slickrock playground"

so the spot is in this area - I'll give a more precise location tomorrow

Based on @Titans getting the place right, I did a little searching on Google Earth and came up with a spot marked on the attached map image. Titans still takes the win on this one as I'd have never found it without a guess of the correct area.



And here's a Google Earth screenshot. I didn't perfectly match the angle but you get the idea.

I love this area. It's just perfect. There's water—deep enough to swim, slickrock, and plenty of interesting pockets. Lots of routes that are a bit challenging but most of them go if you try. And it's a long day hike but a very mild backpack.

Yep! Knew that one would go fast.

This one may be a little harder. The name of the canyon indirectly reflects the difficulty of getting from the lower box where the clean water is up to the higher part. It's quite a scramble and that prevented grazing in the main canyon.
