I would say Panorama Point, but it's technically not in Canyonlands. My last guess, as I don't know the Maze at all.

You are correct on both points. I had forgotten that most of the Orange Cliffs NRA is not actually in the park.

It's a great place for watching storms. I spent 4 days there last summer. Once you have a reservation nobody else can camp there although I would not mind.

The arch doesn't look familiar.

I'll definitely have to check it out.

Here's a hint on the arch: you have to hike up a canyon to see it.

Oh, and the placement of the sunstar is a HUGE hint.

it is red mountain but this picture is from the edge of Snow Canyon, close enough though, You're up @Jeffrey Chandler !

aahhhh edge of snow canyon, it did seem a little higher than the black rocks area but the angle seemed right lol.
