Guess the spot: Utah Edition

It also looks like the canyon just before you get to the Maze overlook. Can't remember the name. Water Canyon maybe. If so that would be Panorama Point in the background.

Where the Maze Overlook road and Queen Anne Bottom split there's a place like that. 300' drop. I saw it in all it's raging glory from Panorama point after a major downpour.

Funny how your brain can make things fit (or at least my brain can).

The only way anybody would know this is if they have been there. There's not much reason to go there unless you are looking for a secluded place on a high cliff. The rock formations are beautiful and there are a few ruins.

HINT: That is a paved road below.

That's a cool location. I was down by Blanding, but too far east. That old corral in the middle is interesting.

Corral in the middle? I think you're looking at a huge chained area that is burned. Use the map to show me what you see. Zoom in.

This was probably a sheep corral.

I love places like that. I have a couple up around Green River that no one would ever go to. That's part of what makes them special.

The paved road below is U-276 going to Halls Crossing to the right. The dirt road above goes to Collins Spring in the Grand Gulch.
