Guess the spot: Utah Edition

My other thought that it reminded me of was Surprise Valley area of the Rainbow Trail below Navajo mtn

I think it looks very Glen Canyon-ish, with Navajo sandstone domes and Navajo mountain. Is it south of the San Juan?

That’s close enough. It’s looking across the Great Bend of the San Juan towards Navajo Mtn from the north side. The river is there in the foreground and passes back through further back in the photo.

Good one. You have been to so many of the great places.

I have wanted to drive the road near there onto Grey Mesa, potentially rim hiking to the south or north, but it's kinda out of the way.
