Guess the spot: Utah Edition

@Titans has all the right features determined, the cliffs are cedar mesa sandstone the drainages descend to the San Juan River. Just need to choose a canyon!

ok.... not sure what hints I can give without giving it away, how about if I say that this canyon is in a high-elevation part of the San Rafael Swell?
You are right that's a big hint! I have ideas but I'll reserve them. Nothing conclusive. Snow on the north sides for orientation, all navajo walls/bottom with a carmel cap. A Kelsey x-section might just give it away.

ok I'm leaving town soon so let's move this along: it's Forgotten Canyon, which drains into Eagle Canyon a bit north of the freeway, someone else go

I wouldn't know....they're impossible to get!
It's getting increasingly difficult every year. Last fall they started having Fall hosts and they occupied 2 of the sites.
But I do remember a great TR of yours where you invited a young couple to share one of those campsites with you and you ended up doing a lovely backpacking trip together. Great story!
