Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Not Zion. Escalante region is a good guess.

well, this looks very swellish, and I'm pretty sure I've not seen this, so I'm going to say Copper Globe!

Geologically, great guess. But, and this may give it away, wrong "swell" formation i.e.: monocline though i may not be entirely correct about the orogeny
yeah I don't know the words but after I posted that guess I realized that I think Copper Globe is up an entire level from e.g. Tomisch Butte -- it's up among the navajo domes I think. anyway I'll let someone else take the next guess!

I'm not sure what you mean by orogeny, as the Swell was all Laramide. But could it be down on the road to Hondu Arch?

Hopefully I am not wrong but there is another monocline of Laramide era nearby....
I'm afraid more details will give it away. The mine's in the chinle and the cliffs wingate where the red stain is weathered away.

The right reef! Admittedly, I took this picture as I was cresting a minor divide and I cannot find the mine structure now on Google Earth!
This spot is less than 2 miles on foot from a major travel route, and less than 1.5 miles (line of sight) from a named geologic unique feature destination. mention that route, the geologic feature, or general location of the reef
