Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Bump with a photo clue as to the general location.
This is the view to the NW from the top of the trail that went by the arch lower down.View attachment 104747

Looks like the White Cliffs in the background ?
You seem to be somewhere between the cliffs lines of White Cliffs and Vermilion Cliff.
Wild guess to get this going… Maybe something off Kitchen Coral road (road up to Mollies Nipple, the Paria one…) , off rt89

Not that wild a guess at all, but think further west.

I was looking for something else and just came upon The Elkheart Cliff TH…. Is your arch close to that?

Closer than your last guess, but not really close. As far as I can tell, the arch isn't named, but the trail has a name that is now considered offensive by many. Other than views at the top, a wildlife spotting was a highlight on this short walk:

I guess that condor photo threw you off, as it is further west of the HRV. I just threw it in for interest, but it was taken on the trail that you are looking for.
One more photo. There is a city hiding off frame to the left._1260777-copy-2.jpg

Toughie, as @John Morrow says. I can think of a bazillion Utah trails with a view like above :roflmao: . You said west of kitchen coral road, so that Condor photo is amazing but managed to throw even @Michael off and he usually is spot on with his guess!

Are you way west, like St George area?

That's way too much west. A comment above had me thinking that you were zeroing in on it. Combine that my description of the name...
Squaw Trail, Kanab ( Rick actually told me two days ago, should have checked photos online ).

That's it! Not a destination hike, but a good short walk after spending the morning in Kanab getting Coyote Buttes South permits and re-supplying.
Seems like a popular local hike, probably most walk right by the emerging arch without stopping to look more closely. The condors were a treat- 2 circled not far above us as I scrambled to change lenses. By the time I had the telephoto on they had already moved further off, so I count myself lucky to have gotten a couple of decent shots. Co-incidentally, we had a good chat and more condor viewing later that afternoon, with two guys who were monitoring re-introduced youngsters at the viewing site in House Rock Valley.

No idea where that is, but I'd like to jump into that picture with a fishing rod and spend a little time there checking for fish.

I'm pretty sure it's Fourth Chain Lake. With your luck, you'd snag a big fish while taking a photo of an awesome sunset.

I could only hope! I'm not particularly lucky... I just spend a lot of time fishing and looking at sunsets.
