Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Haha! That's more commonly just called the Hole-in-the-Rock Trail, but more specifically the one on the east side of the river. My brother in law keeps trying to get me to do it with him. The F150 would not be welcome there...

Not my video:

When riding is a 4wd vehicle is only marginally faster than walking, I'm out. I'd rather walk. That's some crazy shit, but if one were to do it to access the area for an extended time, perhaps. Or I'll just hop on my friend's pontoon boat for easier access.

Yeah I was out there last month (drove the Nokai Dome rd as far as I could in my 4runner) and walked a short stretch of the road near the aladdin pass area on part of my travels and it looked pretty serious. Would much rather walk (wish others would too...that's some killer remote wilderness), but that's just me :D

I've been out there in my truck and then got on my mountain bike. Didn't make it but half way to the lake though. I want to go back and backpack in - after I retire maybe. Water is an issue and the place is badly cow-hammered.

That would be the Tavaputs Plateau and Range Creek. I've been wanting to go see Range Creek Canyon. Looks very interesting.
Nice! I was wondering if anyone would get this without a hint or two. I've been spending a fair amount of time southwest of there (Turtle Canyon and Trail Canyon) the last few weekends chasing long-dead cowboys from Range Creek.

That's awesome. All the history in the area, Native American and cowboy, is really cool. I need to get there and see it. Be sure to share some photos!

I'll have a map up on here by the end of the day, hopefully. Away from my computer.
