Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Nice spot Joey, have been there but will let others try to continue the game for you.

And Outdoor_Fool, it surprised how long it took someone to guess your spot in the south part of Yellowstone Park.

Wishing Everyone the Best!

You guys have to guess this by tonight, since I'll be gone from the computer a few days afterwards. Otherwise Kayla will just have to claim it.

There is a good clue with the red line and elevations. It's located in a wilderness area.

Outdoor_Fool, okay I will take it. Yes this is Lena Lake and Upper Holland Lake Area on the west side of the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. It is a nice area. I hiked in here years ago and need bad to go back to the Greater Bob Marshall Country. I hiked up to Lena Lake and I have an old unscanned slide taken years ago of the area. I climbed a peak back in somewhere in here also. It is really nice back in there. You both sound like you guys have plans, wishing you the best. Since they said I have it, will be right back with the next one.

Now okay here is the next one for everyone. A place given the time of year should be a pretty nice place right now since it is late October. Now I will be back it seems tomorrow afternoon after work.

Wishing Everyone the Best!

Looks so much like the Circle Cliffs, but I can't find the exact spot.

I'll keep looking.

This is on the other side of the fold from the Circle Cliffs. It is high on my list of off-the-radar backpacking destinations but I've only day hiked part of it so far. And one last hint, some people think it would be hard to survive out there.

aha! I had to go looking around Ticaboo from your hint, but yes. That looks like some fun fins to explore and climb around in.

You marked out Peshliki Fork. Looks like you might be able to loop around there via the lake, or Ticaboo. That might be good for some winter time backpacking.

Exactly. I've had a boat-assisted point-to-point in mind combining Four Mile and Ticaboo going through there, as well as a few other backpacking options like down South Fork Ticaboo and up Four Mile and through the saddle between Holmes and Ellsworth. Lots of cool stuff out there. You're up, sir.
