I hiked through there on the Oregon Coast Tr at this time last year. Loved all the crazy old growth trees in the area. Took a break at the end of the peninsula to watch some whales.

That's funny that you posted this because for my posting of Triple Divide Peak, I almost went with Imp Peak, just north of this posting.

And yes, I go a little crazy trying to delate the relevant map details also.

Well there's a Sky Pilot here in the Bitterroots and a Sky Pilot in the Beartooths, but I don't know of any in the Madisons.

I really, really, really want to do some sort of off-trail route along this section of the ID/MT border. I know @Bob would be game!
