Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Not sure where that is, sounds southerly. Anyway, it's most likely north of where Abiquiu Reservoir is. Another hint is that @Jackson posted a Guess the Spot location near here a year or 2 ago. Can't remember if it was Maps Edition or not.

Darn it. I had a feeling that it was in the Madisons/ W Jellystone, and Quake/Hebgen/Henrys Fork Lakes were the first places I checked when you posted it. I neglected, however, to look at Clay Lake.

Um-m-m, Clay Lake is not in the map I posted, I assume you meant the other Cl___ Lake?

I'm downright ashamed I didn't recognize Cliff Lake. Went there almost every time we would visit at my grandparents' cabin just a few minutes away.

This one will probably be a lot easier than most of these, but this basin is pretty high on my to-do list so I'll put it in anyway...

Well I must admit to being a little stumped. It's obviously in either Colorado or the Sierra (rampant 13ers, no glaciers) but I scoured the Sierra and couldn't find a match. Unless somebody else jumps in with the answer, it may be hint time?

Certainly seems like somewhere pretty!

Looks like Sunlight Lake and Basin in the Weminuche.

Yeah, I was thinking that people would instantly figure out CO because of the elevation, but I forgot that this forum covers everywhere (not just the Rockies) and there is this other range called the Sierras...

Right there in the middle. See ya in the morning,1.jpg

@RyanP It is back to you. I should have used my double secret screenshot.
