Wow, you had a great year Yvonne!I couldn't get out as much as I used to and especially could not hike this year, so I focused primarily on things I could easily reach within a short stroll or walk.
Death Valley, Eureka Dunes
Kona Coast, Hawai'i
Snow Canyon
Natural Bridges
Zion
Mesa Arch Area Sunrise
Prairie Storm, South Dakota
Yellowstone
Arches NP
Big Island, Hawai'i
Zion Snow
on the Subway hike, Zion

Was the coyote pic posed?
I agree!! I wouldn't mind that coyote on my wall. That's gallery worthy
sent from an undisclosed location
Did the animal actually howl while running around you guys taking pictures of? Great pose - I've only seen them do it in the twilight in the wild.it was taken outside of Toquerville during a wildlife workshop I attended in the Spring.
The Coyote like all other animals were running around and it was up to them what they wanted to do.
But it was a wonderful experience to get some really amazing wildlife shots.

Sweet! Pic (of the lion)? It did, and it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
The second most amazing experience on that workshop was a puma jumping from a cliff to the next while having the Hurricane Mesa in the background
I took a whole sequence, it was so much fun
this triple sequence looks also really great framed together.
So is the lion in a cage of some sort? How do they keep it from tearing photographers apart? Or just taking off? Is there someone leading it around giving it cues or something?
