Very interesting to see. Gopher snake living up to its name!This gopher snake was hanging out nearby when I pulled a recently deceased pocket gopher out of a trap in my garden. I didn't think he'd be interested in it since it was already dead, and I was pretty sure it was too big for him anyways. While he was close to 4' long his head wasn't much bigger than a quarter. The gopher was as big as a large baked potato. I tossed it in front of him, and after a thorough inspection he went for it! It took him 30 minutes, but he did it.
