Not as spectacular as others, but some from New England and a couple from the Winds over the years.

Tatoosh Ridge and ex-fire lookout site via Tatoosh North trailhead.

At a little over 12 miles round trip and 3800 ft elevation gain this trail makes you earn your views, but it's definitely worth it.

The decent... First big elevation loss after all the hard work:

Tired legs and a view of the top. Short steep section to test your will power:

Cool tarn still mostly frozen at the end of August with a peek at Mt. Rainier;

We weren't the only ones using this trail, which at this part was the Copper Creek jeep road. The cows did not budge. We went around!

These are from Killbear Provincial Park in Ontario, from the hiking trails in the park.

A couple of the hikes feature extensive time along and on the large boulders / rocks on Georgian Bay so while not looking like a trail, they are the hiking trail

I went on a 6km or so hike this afternoon at a local conservation authority. Used it as an opportunity to wear my new Osprey Aether 55L and have it half full of stuff to get used to carrying weight. Stuffed my car camping tent, coat and my Nemo forte 35F sleeping bag.

Total weight inside the bag was around 13lbs.

Anyways, enough talking, time for pictures.

We've talked about hiking the Bruce Peninsula but haven't made it there yet. Have you? If so, is this similar?
