Great flowers! I was in Maryland this weekend, and the azaleas were gorgeous there, too. I love the white flower (non-azalea) that's 3rd from the top, but I've never seen it before - do you know what it's called?
Thanks - never heard of that before. I just checked and they don't seem to grow where I live. Bummer! Were you at the Japanese Garden? So lovely!A type of candytuft I believe.

More about the Mt. Hood fiasco please. We LOVE Scatster fiascos.
sounds like the day I was moving to Washington and had to drive across Snoqualmie Pass. It was snowing like crazy and they just opened the pass again. Going across it was snail's pace and chains were required for all cars without 4x4.Just the blizzard I had to drive through to get to Madras. We saw many cars/trucks that had slid off the road on the way up to the pass near Mount Hood, and then down the other side. I'm too old for white knuckle driving.
So much for my thinking that candytuft doesn't grow where I live. I just noticed some in a neighbor's garden! Thanks - never heard of that before. I just checked and they don't seem to grow where I live. Bummer! Were you at the Japanese Garden? So lovely!
