We took a walk up river in the evening with our PFDs on and waterproofed camera in hand. The plan was to drift down river back to camp getting water level photos along the way. The plan did not involve Sage freaking out that I'd left her and coming in after us. She doesn't like water that much, but she likes being separated from me far less. Ahhh, the panic in her eyes.

How does he like the Front Range harness @Nanda ? Luna jumps into hers. best harness I've found.

This thread is the greatest! Our dog, Frankie, is a 2-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She's the ultimate adventure buddy, although sometimes it feels like animal abuse making her live in the desert -- snow and water are definitely her favorite things! I do miss frequent National Park trips (especially since we live so close to Zion,) but I wouldn't trade her for anything. :)
