Sun setting behind us going down Burr Trail switchbacks... my hands were glued to the steering wheel, Rick ventured out halfway down. The real photo was one big shadow obviously, but with some heavy iPad editing”- it looked like this around 6 pm yesterday:

Notice how the clouds vanished in a few hours as compared to the Druid Arch pictures....
We had a fantastic day hiking to Druid Arch and then up to Chesler Park. This is on the way back to Elephant Hill TH.

A nice sunset along the Missouri River. This is a relatively remote campsite, for this area, and I do stay there from time to time. On this night I built a small fire and watched the sun set and the stars appear. (This is an almost 180-degree panorama)

But the real show happened during the meteor shower early morning on Friday.

went on a short stroll on Sunday after work and enjoyed the sunset view of the backside of Zion

On my walk back to my car in twilight, I enjoyed the night concert of the singing coyote nearby.
