Album Home

You're making me want to move to Nebraska. Beautiful!

It's a good place if you like the plains, but a long way from mountains and the lack of public ground is stifling for folks who like to wander.

The sky here is second to none, though.

this is a bit different.
It was my home. That's what is left. A year later and still steaming
But I'm glad I could see it and finally have closure.
I'm surprised the gate is still there.
I also have to admit it looked pretty eerie

Dang Yvonne. Sorry to see that knowing how much it meant to you...

That’s what happens when you live on an active volcano. I’m glad I saw it so I now can move on.
There are still a lot of beautiful spots out here to explore.
And next week when I’m back in the park the Memorial Day craziness awaits me

That's so sad but sounds like you are doing well.

actually, right now I'm okay. I saw my place and it helped.
I knew it could happen. And when it happened I know the house was gone but I haven't seen it until now.
That was definitely needed to get closure so I can move on now.
I guess it is the same process when someone loses a house to a wildfire.
