Guess the spot

I was surprised, as most people don't know about this national park that was designated by Jimmy Carter and never got funded. But you're up!

Let's see if anyone else can guess it by its current name as a fully-funded fairly new national monument.
 
No one has it so far.

A hint is that no one lives there anymore. Except for one house on the very end, I think.

Edit: It's definitely worth seeing if you're in the general area, especially since you're allowed to go inside most of the buildings. Most have decayed quite a bit, but they're preserved well enough (since it's a state park) that you can still get a feel for what it was like living there 80-100+ years ago.
