I have a history of that.I think you're overestimating the size somewhat.
It's easy to miss a small pond in between places as spectacular as Grave Lake and Ranger Park.I walked right by that in summer 2019 and still didn't recognize it. Haha. Camped probably a quarter mile to the east of it that evening. Wild. I'll have one in a bit.
For sure. It was getting to be late afternoon/early evening, and we were getting tired by then, so we tended to ignore most stuff that wasn't a flat clearing where we could drop our packs and set up camp. Haha.
