Guess the spot

New Hampshire's White Mountains are truly spectacular. The 4,000'er Facebook Group had some awesome photos from Monroe the other day. Thanks for the easy one for once. Give me a minute for another.

No, sorry. Not the Bighorns but this photo was taken in Wyoming. Here are a couple of photos of the Absaroka from this mountainside46731091_10157002479959917_345318690608119808_o.jpg46644858_10157002480814917_8878187503845113856_o.jpg

At first glimpse I thought it was the Madison Range but based on the subsequent photos, I started thinking the Gros Ventres.

West Miner Creek and East Miner Creek of the Gros Ventres.

The original photo is indeed looking at the Gros Ventre Mountains and the "other" side of Sheep Mt. and you are looking in the direction of those drainages, but I'm in a "range" of Highlands across the Gros Ventre River Valley to the North.

I'll post something tonight. If anyone else wants to jump in, go ahead.

Did you take that photo from the top of Mt Leidy?
