Guess the spot

Was going to say Mount Gould, but that is too popular of an area from your description.

I will say that it is close to mount Gould

heres a strong hint. Called "the quintessential mountaineering route" in GNP

Amphitheater...which is right next to James?

Some people would say that the Floral Park route fits that description ...

None of the above, it is off trail, near gould, and "quitessential" and ill add according to J Gordon Edwards.

im glad that this is stumping people but prompting guesses unlike my other ones lol

starts from the many glacier hotel

Actually he's not. I just talked with him. He just came out of the Bedartooths. I'll see him in Yellowstone next Saturday. He's headed down to the Winds with Bob in the am.
thats good that hes made it through the last week and a half. Some people were posting that they were worried

Mount Winn taken from Cracker Lake?
ssoooo close ill give one more guess because theres a certain mountain or basin im looking for, so it is a crazy awesome mountaineering route that starts from the many glacier hotel and ends up near gould. it is under 10000 feet incase you think it is siyeh (its not)

Sounds like you might be talking about the Snow Moon Basin trip, below Mt. Allen. Don't recognize the exact spot, though ...
You are up @Kishenehn! I was looking for either Snow Moon, Falling Leaf, or Allen. It is on the ridge to allen mountain below the great break but above snow moon lake.

I am quite impressed how this one didnt die like my other ones lol

@scatman what you wrote made me question whether you were thinking of the right place lol "passed to left on the lower slope" "outfitters trail" and "pass on the left" seriously confused me lol
